Welcome to my very first "Fated" blog post! What is "Fated: Surviving Magic", you ask? Well, read on to find out.
When a mysterious incident called, "The Cataclysm" causes the Fae Realm and Earth to fuse into one, the survivors from both sides must band together to deal with hordes of monsters, ancient rivalries, and new threats beyond imagining. The laws of physics will bend, our technology will be rendered useless, and magic will tip the balance of power.
We don't know who or what caused, "The Cataclysm" but those who survived must work together to pick up the pieces--or break them further.
Magic is real but altered from the Cataclysm. Some who've never had it, develop strange, new abilities while others who have had it all their lives have found their own powers changed or gone. Most technology has been rendered useless as electricity doesn't work with magic. The creatures we've referred to in pop culture as "cryptids" are, in fact, misidentified beings from the Fae Realm, and they are far more dangerous than we'd ever imagined.
"Fated" will follow the adventures of a mix of survivors and how they deal with this dangerous, new world while learning to deal with each other.
